Wethersfield Little League …………..

is now offering online registration for the 2012 season -  registration begins on January 1^st, 2012!  

Register now for Baseball and Softball, ages 6 – 15.    Click here to access the website and complete your registration!

• 01/31/2012 -  Online Registration Ends
• 02/01/2012 -  In-Person Registration (Pitkin Community Center 6:00 - 8:00 pm)
• 02/08/2012 -  In-Person Registration (Pitkin Community Center  6:00 - 8:00 pm)

Teams will be formed in April.  Watch the website for tryout schedules and regular updates as the season approaches.

Upcoming softball clinics for girls ages 8-14….. 
 
Working together with FPN (Fast Pitch Nation) the Wethersfield Little League is proud to start up Softball clinics for January and February for all girls ages 8-14.  The clinics will be held at Fast Pitch Nation in Bloomfield (about a 15 minute drive fro the center of Wethersfield).  If you have not been there yet, FPN is an all girls indoor softball facility with pitching lanes, batting cages and a full dirt infield.  They have a very experienced staff of teachers who have all played college softball…  This is a GREAT opportunity for the girls in town and I’m helpful to get a lot of girls signed up… The clinics will be broken out by age and skill level as needed…

 The clinics to start, will be broken down by:
 

1. Pitchers and Catchers – This four week session will begin on Sunday, January 22, 2012 and be held from 6:00 – 7:00 pm.   The dates are January 22^nd, January 29th, skip February 5^th, continue on February 12^th and February 19^th….   This is open to ANY girl who has pitched or played catcher…  ANY girl who has ever wanted to pitch or play catcher and ANY girl who wants to learn these positions from a first class teaching staff…  Cost is ONLY $60.00 for all four sessions… that breaks down to only $15 per week !

 

2. Hitting – This four week  session will have the same dates as above and run from 7:00 – 8:00 pm.  This clinic will focus on ALL aspects of hitting.  Including the proper swing, choosing the correct bat size, bunting, etc… Again, it’s a GREAT opportunity for the Wethersfield girls to learn from a first class teaching staff of college softball players….  This class size may be limited.   Cost for this one is also ONLY $60.00 for the four week session

 
This is a unique opportunity for the girls in town.  We offered the pitchers/catchers clinics two years ago and they were very well received.  We are starting it again and also adding hitting…    Please spread the word to ANY softball players you know in town…

The Wesleyan University Baseball Team...

is offering Wethersfield Little League players aged 8-14 indoor baseball clinics on Monday nights in January 2012 in in Wesleyan’s Bacon Field House.

Focusing on game skills, live at-bats, hitting in the cage, live defensive play, and game situations, the clinic offers group and individual instruction from college coaches.

When:          Mondays in January, 2012 - 6:30-9:00 p.m.
                     (January 9, 16, 23 and 30)

Where:        Wesleyan University, Bacon Field House, Freeman Athletic Center, Middletown 
Cost:           $100 for the week / or $25 per individual each session.
